Hey y'all--
I'm sure this comes as no surprise, but I need to take a bit of a break from my blog. I'm working 2 jobs this summer (down from the 3 I had at first), and I'm just not finding the time to post anything of quality. I don't just want to make slapdash posts, so I end up not posting at all.
Hence I'm going to take a break. I don't know how long it will last--it may include the fall term of this year. I've taken loans and won't be teaching in the fall, so I really HAVE to put all my mental energy into the dissertation, and I'm afraid I'll use my blog as a procrastination device. If I manage to stick to a good writing schedule, though, I may be back during fall term. Here's hoping.
Anyway, I wanted to say thanks to all of you wonderful people out there in blog-land. You are all extraordinary, and I'm grateful to be your friend.

I just saw that someone had googled Mr Toast's 2nd Tea and my blog of that came up, Yours was the first comment on my blog so I immediately thought I must pay you a visit to see what you're up to. So now I know and I'm so glad I caught you before you left. We will still be here when you come back. In the meantime do what you have to and know that all good wishes are with you. Take care of yourself

ReplyDeleteWell, dear birdie, I do relate and the mere fact i have not seen this shows how absent i too have been in blogland, outside of Creative Tuesdays.
ReplyDeleteSo, with that, I wanted to tell you that I am closing Hot Toast and Jam and thought you might enjoy its last post.
I will still be visiting just not as much (as if I have been that frequent anyway) as one might expect when hosting a personal blog, verses an art one.
