Just wanted to take a bit of time to remember those who have served, fought, died, survived, seen friends die, and tried to mend lives. Regardless of personal feelings about any war, human lives are lost. And they should not be lost to memory as well.

This is the first year I've noticed that we share a bank holiday with Memorial Day.

ReplyDeleteSorry about having to grade on a sunny day. I have the opposite problem: dreary, drippy weekend, but no essays. (my time will come...) Two not-so-hot ARCs to keep slogging through, though! Procrastinate by taking a walk in the rain?
